DH Frederick Securities, Inc. is a licensed broker dealer that specializes in assisting clients with capital and consulting needs, and is one of three U.S. entities and one Canadian entity which comprise Frederick Capital Corporation, which is headquartered in Newport Beach, CA. For more than 20 years, Frederick Capital Corporation has successfully completed multi-million dollar deals on behalf of public and private firms, management teams, individuals, investor groups and family businesses.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA), which regulates all firms selling securities in the United States, requires FINRA dealers to archive all inbound and outbound correspondence forever. This permanent file may be accessed at any time by request by the SEC. DH Frederick Securities has been and continues to use Global Relay, a premier message archiving company in Vancouver, BC, to comply with these regulations. But the U.S. based broker dealer also needed to find a separate hosted backup and restore provider to secure all the company's files and contacts. In addition, banking regulations around transactions such as acquisitions requires bankers to backup these deal related documents so DH Frederick Securities needed to find a firm that they could trust with their most important data and that would keep them compliant. The Solution

In November 2009, their email archiving provider Global Relay recommended BUMI (Backup My Info!) to DH Frederick Securities. Global Relay had worked with BUMI and let DH Frederick Securities know that their data storage facilities were in Canada. DH Frederick Securities contracted BUMI to remotely backup all their contacts and Microsoft Office files and continues to rely on Global Relay to archive all their email correspondence, keeping them compliant with government regulations.
